Nomadica stands for a way of living that’s inspired by freedom, travel, movement, and exploration. It’s about going beyond the usual, discovering new places, and experiencing the world with an open heart.
How Our Journey Began
Nomadica started in July 2023 as a government-registered travel company, but the real story began much earlier.
Our founder – a girl from Northeast India,started traveling solo to understand her own region better. She explored small villages, hidden routes, local cultures, and met people whose stories inspired her deeply.
What began as her personal journey slowly grew into a dream:
to help others experience the Northeast the way she saw it : raw, honest, and beautiful.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
PARISMITA PHUKAN
Born and raised in a small village in the Lakhimpur district of Assam, Parismita grew up with dreams far bigger than her surroundings. Travel opened a new world for her , one filled with mountains, trails, and unexplored landscapes and soon became the foundation of her life’s purpose.
Her journey began with solo trips, which later inspired her to complete two years of local mountaineering training. These experiences shaped her understanding of safe travel, route planning, and responsible adventure leadership.
While her academic path led her to complete an MPharm and work professionally in clinical research, her passion for exploration never faded. In 2023, she brought both worlds together and founded Nomadica, a vision-driven travel company that showcases the beauty of Northeast India through authentic, local experiences..
Today, under her leadership, Nomadica has grown into a government-registered travel company that has proudly served more than 500 travelers across India and abroad.
Through Nomadica, Parismita continues to share the Northeast the way she knows it – raw, real, and from the heart.
