Nomadica started in July 2023 as a government-registered travel company, but the real story began much earlier.
Hi, I am Parishmita, a girl from Northeast India, who started traveling solo to understand my region better.I explored small villages, hidden routes, local cultures, and met people whose stories inspired me deeply.
What began as a personal journey slowly grew into a dream.
Through this dream “Nomadica,” I want you to help you experience the Northeast the way I saw it: raw, honest, and beautiful.

about our founder
pARISMITA PHUKAN
Born and raised in a small village in the Lakhimpur district of Assam, I grew up with dreams far bigger than my surroundings.
Travel opened a new world for me, one filled with mountains, trails, and unexplored landscapes, and soon became the foundation of my life’s purpose.
My journey began with solo trips, which later inspired me to complete two years of local mountaineering training in Assam.
These experiences shaped my understanding of safe travel, route planning, and responsible adventure leadership.
While my academic path led me to complete an M.Pharm (Master of Pharmacy) and work professionally in clinical research, my passion has always been traveling and exploring.
In 2023, I combined both worlds and founded Nomadica, a travel company that showcases the beauty of Northeast India through authentic, local experiences.
Till November 2025, Nomadica has proudly served more than 500 travelers across India and abroad.
