How to Reach Anini

Anini is a remote town located between the Dri and Mathun rivers, and reaching it is an adventure in itself.

You can:
• Take a train to Tinsukia Railway Station (TNK)
• Or fly to Dibrugarh Airport (DIB)

From Tinsukia or Dibrugarh, hire a cab or take shared transport for a long but scenic road journey to Roing, Arunachal Pradesh. This drive usually takes 12–14 hours, passing through beautiful hills and forests.

From Roing, Anini is about 200–235 km away and can be reached by local vehicles.

• An Inner Line Permit (ILP) is mandatory to enter Arunachal Pradesh
• APSTS buses operate on selected days only, so planning in advance is important

Best Time to Visit Anini

The ideal time to visit Anini is from October to April.
• November to March is perfect for snow lovers, when Anini turns into a magical winter destination with clear skies and snow-covered views.
• March to April welcomes spring, with pleasant weather and blooming rhododendron fields.
• April to July is also a good time for those who prefer greenery, mild temperatures, and a calm, relaxed atmosphere before the monsoon.
